West Ham United are apparently interested in signing of Manchester United striker Michael Owen on a permanent transfer. West Ham manager Avram Grant is under pressure to get the Hammers off the bottom of the Premier League table and out of the relegation zone and is believed to be keen on adding some much-needed firepower to his squad.
According to Caughtoffside.com, former England international Michael Owen is one of several targets for the east London club, with the former Liverpool and Newcastle striker close to making a comeback from injury.
Owen may have some new team-mates soon, with the club linked to both Victor Valdes and Robinho in the January transfer window.
