OWEN CORRECT WITH UNITED PREDICTION

Ex-Liverpool, Stoke City and Newcastle United striker Michael Owen was spot on with his prediction on the outcome of the Premier League clash between hosts Manchester United and Burnley.

In his column for BetVictor, Michael Owen predicted a win for Manchester United at the expense of the Clarets as he tipped them to bounce back from the lean 1-1 draw at the home of Newcastle United in their last league game before the Burnley game.

Michael Owen also predicted a 2-1 win for Manchester United, but the scoreline was 3-1 in favour of the home team.

Manchester United started the game against Burnley with a seven points difference between them and Arsenal in the fourth and final Champions League spot on the Premier League log and only a win would take the Red Devils closer to the Gunners in the race for Champions League football next season.

Ex-Liverpool, Newcastle United and Stoke City striker Michael Owen didn't get his predictions right for the Manchester City and Chelsea games. The Premier League legend had made predictions on the games involving the two teams before they took to the pitch.

Michael Owen made his predictions for the Manchester City v Leeds United game and the London Derby clash between Crystal Palace and Chelsea via his BetVictor column.

According to the former Manchester United striker, Manchester City will thrash Leeds United 4-1 at home, while Chelsea will get the better of hosts Palace by 2-0.

Liverpool-legend-turned pundit Michael Owen has expressed his delight at the Reds' performance versus Arsenal over the weekend.


Jurgen Klopp's side were simply scintillating with their movement from start to finish as they outclassed the Gunners by a 4-0 scoreline on Sunday.

Roberto Firmino opened the scoring from a corner where he was found unmarked before Sadio Mane made it 2-0 in the first period with a brilliant right-sided curler from the box. Arsenal were therein playing catch-up in the second period, and a mistake from Hector Bellerin allowed Mohamed Salah to bag the third goal of the game after he ran 75 yards up the pitch to put a simple effort past Petr Cech.
